Come Enjoy the Great Lakes!

About us

If you're looking for your next adventure on the Great Lakes of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, you've come to the right place!

We are a family-owned company offering fishing, hunting, and sight-seeing trips from ice out to freeze up.  Whether it's Lake Superior Lake Trout at Stannard Rock, Redheads in the shadow of the Mackinac Bridge, or Walleye from the famous Little Bay de Noc, we have you covered.

Our Boats

Depending on the adventure you choose, you will join us on either the Top 40 or the Salmon Ella.  Top 40 is a 32-foot World Cat that offers an amazingly soft ride and an unmatched level of comfort.  It provides comforatble seating for up to six passengers, a full enclosure for protection from the elements, a full-size, stand-up head (bathroom), heat, and air conditioning.

Salmon Ella is a 23-foot center console Pacific Boat that lets us access some of the more remote areas of the Upper Peninsula without sacrificing safety or capability.  Salmon Ella can confortably fish up to four anglers, and provides an excellent platform for deepwater jigging or trolling.  We also use Salmon Ella for our layout boat hunts, where it serves as the tender boat for our Layout Addictions Pro Gun layout boat.

Your captain is licensed by the United States Coast Guard and has over 30 years of experience on the Great Lakes. Our boats are inspected and licensed by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources for carrying passengers. Both boats are equipped with all required safety equipment and full suites of Simrad electronics, including redundant VHF radios, autopilot, and plotters.

Spring

Our year kicks off fishing salmon and trout on the south shore of Lake Superior as soon as the ice is out.  This time of year, while chilly, offers some of the hottest fishing.

Walleye season opens first in the Menominee area, which also offers opportunities for some trout.  Shortly after, walleye season opens across the entire U.P., offering anglers the chance at some giant post-spawn walleyes in the shallows.

Summer

Summer for us belongs to salmon, which we pursue all over the northern end of Lake Michigan. While other areas of the country are reducing or eliminating salmon fishing, Michigan's fishery remains strong with increased stocking announced for 2023.

Fall

The end of summer concentrates the walleyes on offshore shoals and humps, giving anglers a nice mix of trolling and casting opportunities.

Duck season begins in the Upper Peninsula at the end of September, with peak flights beginning around the middle of October.  We offer layout-boat hunts for diver ducks across the U.P. - a definite must for any waterfowl hunter!
